COVID Support
Banwell Parish Emergency Plan - Volunteer
We are looking for Volunteers to support the Parish over the coming months.
The Parish is currently split into 21 areas each of which have a Coordinator and cover coordinator who is accepting phone calls from those in need and co-ordinating a response with volunteers from each area and other organisations.
We are asking for more Volunteers who are prepared to go out and about to collect & distribute shopping / medicine or make phone calls.
If you are able to do any of the above please contact the Parish Council Clerk (Liz Shayler) by phone on (01934) 820442 or email on clerk@banwellparishcouncil.org.uk, facebook message www.facebook.com/banwellparishcouncil
Banwell Foodbank, Banwell Youth & Community Centre, West Street
Banwell Parish Council have teamed up with Banwell School, Love Banwell and Langford Minibus Society to run a foodbank in conjunction with WsM Foodbank from the Youth and Community Centre, West Street.
As COVID-19 has impacted everyone differently and unexpectedly, food parcels are available for collection to anyone in need of support.
Long life food is preferred, such as cupboard staples including cereals, biscuits, tinned food, pasta etc.
Any donations for the Banwell food bank can be dropped between 10 and 12 Tuesday and Thursday morning or by phoning Liz 01934 822441 to arrange a more convenient time.
If you are in need of a foodbank parcel, or would like to know more, please contact Jo Arnold by email on jo.arnold@banwellprimary.co.uk
